A Conversation With The Brights

The Brights are humorous marriage educators, experienced presenters and self-proclaimed Marriage FUNatics!

Richard and Sheri Bright are transparent about their own real-life marriage and fearlessly share the ups and downs of marital bliss and the challenges of blending a family. They both love marriage and delight in helping other couples put the joy and fun back in their relationships.

For ten years the Brights have called Lakewood Church their home. For eight of those years, the Brights have been a part of Lakewood’s Marriage Ministry, and have volunteered on numerous projects and committees. Richard and Sheri are Lay Ministers, serving under their pastor, Joel Osteen. They are lead teachers for the Sunday 10 am Marriage ROCKS! class, where they get to work with an outstanding team. On Sunday afternoons, you can find them facilitating the Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts/Twogether in Texas, state certified, premarital program*. They have completed Light University’s counselor/mentor program, and recently they became certified Marriage on the Rock trainers (personally taught under Jimmy and Karen Evans of Marriage Today).
