Not Many Comics...

  • Make the cover of The Wall Street Journal
  • Have released six 100% clean comedy videos
  • Warm up audiences for Hollywood’s top sitcoms
  • Can perform the entire Bible in under 30 minutes

Robert G. Lee is already known in the entertainment industry as Hollywood’s top warm-up comic. This veteran of 1,000 episodes of such shows as The New Adventures of Old Christine, Just Shoot Me, Becker and The Drew Carey Show is considered to be the reigning king in this very specialized profession. His job is to keep countless audiences entertained between scenes and costume and set changes with rapid-fire ad-libs and humorous interviews. As such, his razor sharp wit is always ready to have fun with, not make fun of any audience he encounters.

No stranger in front of the camera either, Robert has written, produced and starred in six stand up comedy specials and has been seen on the Bananas Comedy series, on Showtime’s The Joke’s On Thee, VH1’s Stand Up Spotlight, Comic Strip Live and a variety of roles on such sitcoms as Wings and Perfect Strangers.

Robert has combined his Christian world view with his Monty Python sensibility and written many Veggie Tales videos such as “Little Joe,” “Gideon” and “Sheerluck Holmes.”

In addition, Robert is a major contributor to Comedy Comes Clean - Volumes I and II and has written scripts for the popular kids video series, “3-2-1 Penguins.”

On top of everything else, for the past decade Robert has been weaving his humor together with serous Biblical insights as the Director of Drama at his home church, Bel Air Presbyterian.
