Off to the Races Radio powered by The Racing Biz returned Saturday, October 29 with an action-packed one hour program.

This week's show featured visits from Virginia Thoroughbred Association head Debbie Easter and owner-breeder Chip Reed. Easter's group has been a key part of work that has revitalized horse racing in Virginia and hopes to lead a rebirth of breeding.

Longtime owner Reed bred and owns Johnyz From Albany. The two-year-old won last weekend's Maryland Million Nursery to give sire Blofeld his first stakes winner and has a fantastic back story.

Also on hand was Betsy Brown. Brown is a longtime harness trainer, driver and owner based in Woodstock, VA, near Shenandoah Downs.

And of course, legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson also joined the team.
