Join hosts Cliff Perotti and Jonathan Nicholas as they talk real estate with noted entrepreneur, author and national speaker, Jim Randel.

Jim Randel, a graduate of the Columbia University School of Law, has made his living as an entrepreneur. During his 30-year career, Randel has been the lead investor in many real estate and business deals.

Randel has also been a teacher and writer. Three years ago he wrote Confessions of a Real Estate Entrepreneur (McGraw-Hill, 2006) which reached #1 in several Amazon categories. One well-known reviewer rated this book a “12 on a scale of 10.”

Randel has been a guest speaker at Harvard and NYU Business Schools, annual conventions for national organizations, and investor sessions in every large city in the United States. He has appeared on numerous networks as an expert on investing including ABC, CBS, Fox, CNBC, Fox Business and BetterTV.com.

In 2008 Randel retired from his investment activities and formed a new media company, RAND Publishing, to create books to help people understand critical financial and personal principles for success – presented in a concise and entertaining format. These books, called The Skinny On Books are receiving enormous nationwide, critical acclaim from educators, reviewers, bloggers and journalists.

In June of 2009, Randel’s first book in the RAND Publishing series, The Skinny on the Housing Crisis, was awarded the Gold Medal in a book competition sponsored by NAREE, a group of 600 journalists who cover business and finance. Randel received the award in Washington, D.C.
