Join Cliff Perotti and Jonathan Nicholas as they talk with Alan Sims, CEO for The Center for Litigation and Consumer Real Estate Education (CLCREE). His organization educates homeowners who may have been victims of predatory lending, loan modifications scams, and other related real estate issues. Alan R. Sims has worked as a forensic real estate appraiser and expert witness for the past 17 years. He formed the Alan R. Sims Appraising firm in 1993 after an extensive career as an engineer in the fields of telecommunications and sonar development while serving in the U. S. Navy. As a forensic real estate appraiser, Mr. Sims grew frustrated by seeing the real estate market decline, but more importantly, seeing some of his clients losing their homes to predatory lending and other unscrupulous real estate practices. For the past several years he volunteered to advise the public on a plan of action. As the calls came from all over California (and from all over the country), he recognized a need to form The Center for Litigation & Consumer Real Estate Education in an effort to assist the public.
