Zoë Richards

Zoë Richards original training was in Human Resources – she took a degree in Public Admin in the 1980s, and a Masters in Learning in the 90s, and followed a high powered career in Organizational Development and Human Resources. In 2000, with her corporate career in full swing, she accidentally turned to her true love – photography. She went to her local community college, to study photography to improve for her hobby and immediately changed her focus to training to be a professional photographer.  In 2002 she photographed her first wedding for a friend - and then immediately went back to college to learn much more!

Since finishing her photography studies at college 10 years ago, Zoë’s photographed many weddings and helped numerous women rediscover their beauty through fine art portraits. She has had her work featured in Liverpool's Walker Art Gallery, in local and national press, won gold awards, and regularly been on local radio. In December 2012,  Zoë wrote her first book, “100 Lessons I Wish I’d Learned Sooner as a Photographer in Business”.  On the day it was published it became an Amazon bestseller and went on to win a Small Business Book award in March 2013.  In September 2013 she will be  hosting TEN, an event for photographers, the likes of which has never been seen before. TEN is where emotional intelligence and photography meet.

Zoë lives with her husband Rob and her daughter Eleanor in Ormskirk near Liverpool, and this year she'll be the Mother of the Bride!
