Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley and Greg Hanna of Celebrity Interviews Live interview Alison Sweeney. Alison Sweeney is an award-winning multi-faceted talent who boasts an extensive career as a leading actress, sought after producer and content supplier, longstanding TV host and successful author of fiction and nonfiction. She constantly inspires her 1.5+ million social media followers with her balance of career with her focus on family. Sweeney currently stars in and executive produces “Hannah Swensen Mysteries,” based on the incredibly popular book series from Joanne Fluke; and “Chronicle Mysteries” which she co-created based on her passion for true crime podcasts with serial storytelling, both for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Her previous movies for Hallmark include numerous Hallmark Channel Original Movies including the popular sequel trilogy for “The Wedding Veil." No stranger to the camera, Sweeney began her acting at age four and at age 16, she joined the cast of “Days of Our Lives.” In addition to her long-running career as Sami Brady, for which she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Lead Actress, Sweeney also hosted numerous live television specials and 13 seasons of “The Biggest Loser," as well as many guest-starring roles on iconic television series and true crime podcasts. Sweeney’s love for storytelling extends to her writing of books including her popular novels The Star Attraction, Scared Scriptless, and Opportunity Knocks, based on her Hollywood insider’s knowledge and her keen sense of romance and fun. New York Times best-selling author Jodi Picoult described Sweeney’s book as “Great fun for any reader who secretly sneaks peeks at People magazine in the checkout line at the grocery store, and wonders, What if…?”
