Game Changer: Pivoting Towards Your Purpose

Sometimes where we start in life isn't where we end up. In this episode Nancy reflects on how her early days on the open mic poetry scene led her directly into doing work she is passionate about. She candidly talks about how stepping onto those stages gave her confidence and helped her to find and hone her voice. She also reflects on the importance of doing a self assessment of your strengths and areas where you fall short, because even though she wasn't a strong performance poet, she was able to take that experience and the skills she gained from it and pivot towards her purpose.
