In Niki Aguirre's own words:

My degree is in biology and I am truly a science geek at heart, but my passion lies within creating art. With good fortune and blessing I plan to make it my life’s work. I’ve explored many artistic areas since childhood. I began in art, as my natural talent is in drawing. I have also been a musician since the age of twelve.In addition to art and music I also spent a great deal of time studying acting and working on independent films during my college years. Having had a film background, telling a story through an image is of utmost importance to me. I was photographically born, so to speak, in the fall of 2010. Photography has a very different approach in bringing an audience to their conclusion. I don’t want to give answers. I want to provoke questions with my art and any work that will let me do so is perfect for me.
