On Thursday October 20, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. est., I will have the pleasure of interviewing a great song writer and singer, Eddie Ray Franks Jr. from the United States.  He is a music legend with quaility style country music where each song has a story to tell and he tells them well.  He also is known as The Other Man In Black.  He also knew Johnny Cash from the Louisiana Hayride before he married June. He was best friends of Johnny Horton who taught him to play the guitar at the age of 6. He grew up on The Louisiana Hayride, his late Uncle Tillman B Franks was the manager and he also managed many of the other greats like The Carlisles, Webb Pierce, Johnny Horton, Claud King, David Houston, Jimmy C Newman and many many more. There is another reason why he wears black and his reason is not the same as Johnny Cash. He wore it for the poor, homeless and beaten down, Eddie Ray wears black to honor those who died in Vietnam while he was there.  So if you like ole style country music you are going to love Eddie Ray Franks Jr.  You can find his music at https://www.reverbnation.com/theothermaninblack
