The Musician's Social Club's Blog Talk Radio Show

On this weeks show I will have the privilege to interview a band out of Navelim-Goa, India. I will be talking to Vijayan Almeida from the band Kixmet. We may also hear from the other members of the band: Leo Gomes, Bryson Goes, and Lenin Vaz. Kixmet combines the spirit of Rage against the Machine, the showmanship of Iron Maiden, the technical wizardry of Dream Theater and the kitsch of Bollywood soundtracks. Vijay (aka XXX): (guitars/songwriter/composer) a former dentist, currently working as a music teacher, radio jockey and a trumpet player in Jazz and pop bands. Vijay is a lover of academics currently pursuing a Masters in Political Science. Lenin Vaz: (bass and vocals) is a dentist by day and a Sunday school teacher at weekends. Lenin an awesome ballroom dancer and doesn't know the meaning of the word impossible. Bryson Goes:(Electric Violin) He was at Seminary when he decided to make music his calling. By day, he is a music teacher and choir leader. Loves to live life large. Leo Gomes: (drums and percussions): Sessions drummer and drum teacher by day. Quiet off stage but a riot on it. In his personal life loves solitude and nature.
