On September 10, 2010 at 6 p.m. eastern I will have the pleasure of interviewing Eric Michael Cohen. Eric is from Boston Massachusetts in The United States. Eric Michael Cohen is the founder, musician, and producer of the genre crossing music of Cancer Killing Gemini. He fuses pop music with industrial, down tempo, post grunge, electronica and rock. With a focus on songcraft and accessibility, CKG writes, records and releases honest, powerful radio-friendly music. Drawing on a wide range of influences (Big Black, Fiona Apple, The Jesus Lizard, Tears for Fears, NIN, Portishead, Deftones, Pixies, etc.) Cancer Killing Gemini delivers melodic and lyrical hooks in multiple styles and genres. Eric Michael Cohen's previous project, kittymonkey, a moody and intense electro-pop foursome, received critical acclaim and spins on over 75 radio stations. Before kittymonkey, Eric toured playing bass in New York “luv punks” Battershell and fronted Boston hard rock outfit Decaf. You can find out more about Eric Michael Cohen at: www.cancerkillinggemini.com .
