Starting right from their name, The Shoreline brings attention not only to the State of Florida, a place well known for serene beaches and palm trees, but also to the fast-growing scene of great music the boys are proud to be a part of. “Our music is a way to relate to people and the things they go through,” says bass player Justin Jacobs, “It’s an escape for them, just like how you might use the beaches.” For their third EP release, Fake It ‘Til You Make It, the four-piece Pop/Rock band from Orlando, FL has given the scene a new taste of how the genre can be digested. Right from the first track, The Shoreline proves why they are a band to be respected and listened to. “I’ve never had a writing and recording process go by so fast and comfortably in my whole life,” guitarist Ryan Phillips states, “It was an absolute pleasure working with my friends.” The band has grown and matured over their two years of existence through National touring, including the coveted Warped Tour. “It has been an experience like none other,” says vocalist Jose Solorzano, “We’ve had amazing shows and met some super cool people. All in all, it’s been fun.” It didn’t take long for them to be noticed by Society Entertainment, who added the band to the label in November 2009 and released their latest EP, a record displaying their newly designed tunes that fans and critics agree, is a sound to be reckoned with. The Shoreline is currently writing their first full length record amidst their extensive touring schedule, which brings the boys all over the Southeast US.
