In 1986, JT entered Utica College of Syracuse University and majored in Journalism but was still off course, not sure if the field was channeling her creativity. After leaving Utica, JT opted to work in broadcast television where she stayed for several years in the creative services department of WPIX-TV writing and editing promotional on-air copy. It wasn’t until she found her way to New York University over a decade later that she would earn her Bachelor of Arts degree and claim her major in Creative Writing, a decision that would take her on a professional journey as a columnist for an independent music magazine, as an editor for the school’s departmental magazine, as a professional ghostwriter and ultimately as a full-time editor. However, it is the time spent as a ghostwriter that would lead to her destiny as author of her first novel Secrets of my Soul.
