Join us today for an exciting interview with Roderick Batson. Author of Full Circle AfricaAmerica.
Baston stated: I was born into a military family and had the opportunity to travel half way around the world as a military dependant, an active duty soldier and most recently as a private citizen. I have vacationed in at least 30 states across America, two West African countries, seven Western European countries, and six eastern and western Caribbean islands, two central American countries and visited and or worked in four major cities insideMexico as well as six border cities. I have been married for 29 years, have two children, and have worked as a Biomedical engineer for over 25 years.
In 2005, I created a 501c3 (non-profit) organization named International Clinical Equipment (I.C.E.) committed to providing reconditioned medical equipment to developing nations around the world. I have also been an advent reader for over 35 years. I read everything from John Steinbeck and Tom Sawyer to Maya Angelou and Eldridge Cleaver. I never had a desire to be a writer growing up until I experience a life changing trip to the continent of Africa. This trip inspired me to write “Full Circle-AfricaAmerica” to generate funding for I.C.E. and change attitudes of Americans toward the continent ofAfrica.
