Literary Showcase Featuring Gwen Gistarb

Our guest is author, Gwen Gistarb. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas attending public schools.  She is a graduate of Texas Southern University holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.  She has worked for Houston Independence School District, Spring Independent School District (Present), Houston Community College and San Jacinto College Systems for twenty-five years.  Gwen has previously created The Self-Enhancement Program, whereas character building sessions were attended by students with behavioral problems.  She later continued the process by planning and executing teen summits for girls on the Westfield High School campus.   Gwen is the author of The Lesson Plan, a Workbook for Mothers and Teenage Daughters.
