Cheryl is an award winning author, inspirational speaker, and talk show host.

As an Award-winning author, Bible teacher, and licensed minister, Cheryl's books, cd's, and devotionals are not meant to only entertain, but to also minister to and encourage others.

Founder and President of Worth More Than Rubies Ministries in Houston, Texas, Cheryl is the author of the award winning Women What the Hell are you Thinking: An Inspiratioanal Guide to becoming a Virtuous Woman of God, The Ministry of Motherhood. Her popular writings also include three anthologies The Triumh of My Soul, Gumbo for the Soul and the newest anthology (November 2009) Living Victoriously for Women. This year Cheryl has been nominated for the African American Literary Award in the non-fiction category.

When asked her passion Cheryl explains, "God has given me a heart for women who are struggling with life’s twists and turns. My message to them is even when we can’t diagnose the problem; God’s word can bring us healing and wholeness. I want to bring this message to all women. I want them to understand that until they fall in love with Jesus, the chains of sin and bondage will never be broken."

"I am honest about myself and my faith; doing my best to follow Christ as a less than perfect yet forgiven soul, so others can see what a personal relationship with God is really all about."

Cheryl is a frequent radio and television guest, including several appearances on blogtalkradio and Great Day Houston. In addition, Cheryl has been featured in magazines such as Favor and Disilgold, and has also appeared on the front cover of the Divine Inspirations Magazine.
