Combat Corner #73: Mayweather-McGregor, Sexy Star, Mae Young Classic, and Japan

Well, it happened. Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor got into the ring and had a boxing match. It was the talk of the world and last Saturday it all went down in Las Vegas.

The trio (and hopefully, Nik Swartz) will give their take on everything surrounding this bout: the action in the ring, the reactions to the bout, the pay-per-view buy number, the money both fighters got, the fact that the bout couldn't sell out the T-Mobile Arena, whether this is the beginning of more crossover bouts, and most importantly, how each of them viewed the bout last weekend.

The big pro wrestling story that will be covered this week was the incident in Mexico at Triplemania this past weekend when Sexy Star shot on Rosemary and nearly broke her arm. The fallout was immediate as many pro wrestlers have taken to social media to express their anger at Sexy Star for her actions, and she has already lost a few bookings because of the incident.
