In 1985, WWF's Saturday Night Main Event aired a now-famous sketch featuring Rowdy Roddy Piper and Vince McMahon in what was the company's first ever Halloween-themed episode. Since then, October's holiday has become somewhat of a pro wrestling trope and today is one of the most celebrated holidays on the calendar. From WCW's Halloween Havoc PPVS to the annual trick-or-street fight on Smackdown, from divas costume battle royales to the annual return of the Boogeyman, we'll talk about our favorite memories and all of the highlights and lowlights of Halloween themed wrestling events.

Hell in a Cell takes place on Sunday and a trio of main events have been announced. As always, we'll give our preview and predictions and take a walk down memory lane as we countdown some of the greatest Hell in a Cell matches and some of the greatest Hell in a Cell moments of all-time.

Staying within the ring, we'll talk about what happened this week on Smackdown and how Team Blue is building toward Survivor Series. We'll also talk about Brock Lesnar's return to TV programming and his Minnesota homecoming perhaps not going as well as Vince had planned, as well as what a former WCW star had to say about the Paul Heyman promo gone wrong.

It wouldn't be an episode of the Combat Corner, without dedicating time to "As the TNA Turns." On this week's episode, Billy's lawsuit is released and it could result in Dixie losing all of her shares in the company, several employees are reportedly threatening to walk out if not paid with some having already hired representation claiming their contracts were voided, and Vince continues to monitor the situation as Impact stars have contacted him to see if there is interest in them joining WWE. Will Impact survive or is it too late for even Broken Matt Hardy to save?

All this and more on the Combat Corner!
