Combat Corner #36: A Whole Lot of News All Over the Combat Sports Spectrum

After somehow, some way managing to cram two weeks of wrestling news into one three-hour show last week, Marilee and Scott are back to keep you updated on all of the major stories within the world of combat sports.

Last week, Bill Goldberg made his much anticipated return to a WWE ring for the first time in 12 years. We'll talk all about the reaction he got as well as what might be expected this week on Raw, when Brock Lesnar returns to address Goldberg's comments.

 We'll talk about the week that was in the brand wars as well as an update on where NXT stands as Takeover: Toronto gets closer and closer. Staying within WWE but moving outside of the ring, we'll talk about Paige's latest step in her relationship with Alberto del Rio and how it may affect her relationship with WWE as well as the announcement of Baby Bella.

And of course, it wouldn't be an episode of Combat Corner lately without addressing the ongoing saga, As TNA Turns. As we await a sale, news from this week includes talk of bankruptcy, the silence broken on who paid for the last round of TV tapings, Billy Corgan's position with the company and more. We'll share out opinions on it all and will discuss what it all means for TNA going forward.
