Duane Nash and I will react to the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series win over the Tampa Bay Rays last night, and all things NFL: last week's games, the drama surrounding the Dallas Cowboys, my unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers, those lowly Atlanta Falcons, and Dez Bryant and Eric Reid being offered practice squad spots.

  • The Dodgers deservedly won the World Series, but how much help did Rays' manager Kevin Cash give them by pulling ace Blake Snell?  Does this kill the "analytics in baseball" support?
  • Is the Dodgers' road to the World Series title tougher than the Lakers' to the NBA Finals?
  • The Steelers won the battle of the unbeatens over the Titans last Sunday.  Does this make the Steelers the NFL's top team?
  • The Cowboys are a mess.  What, if any, can be done to help turn their season around?
  • The Falcons: WOW, just wow.
  • Two former stars were offered practice squad spots, Dez Bryant and Eric Reid, with the former accepting.  How much could Dez help the Ravens?  Should Reid have joined Washington's offer?
