Living Unapolegtically.....The Trans Youth Experience w/ Nala Simone

Join us as we welcome a shining example of our youth Nala Simone to the show. We will discuss some of the pressing issues that Youth of Trans experience face. Nala a Fashion designer, Hair Stylist and Make-up Artist (just to name a few) has interest in health and wellness for women and youth who identify as Transgender. Her professional background includes working as a youth mentor and outreach counselor. Nala is also a Founding Board member of The Transgender Women of Color Collective of Greater New York (TWOCC). We will discuss some of the realties our youth face and how one can try and reach their goals and dreams. Nala will also talk about how her supportive family (the exception and NOT the Norm) has helped contribute to her achieving her goals. Nala will also gives us some beauty tips on how to keep that face flawless and youthful.
