On this week's edition of HealthCare Consumerism Radio, hosts Ron Bachman and Doug Field talk to guests from Tango Health and Acclaris. In the opening 10 minutes, the hosts will preview the upcoming Private Exchange FORUM in Baltimore.

This first guest will be Kami Haynes, director of marketing at Tango Health. In this segment, Kami and the hosts will be detailing the final steps for ACA compliance for 2015. As employers come into the final stages of reporting for 2015, they’re facing the challenges around transmission to the IRS – including corrections, incorrect social security numbers, transmission certification and IRS system downtime. Addressing these final steps to compliance for the 2015 year is critical since the deadline is June 30. And although HR and benefits teams are exhausted from the 2015 process, there’s no rest for the weary – 2016 compliance should begin now.

The second guest will be Seth Ravine, chief revenue officer at Acclaris. The headlines say it all; health insurers are struggling with managing costs in the face of the Affordable Care Act. Acclaris recently launched a new benefits benchmarking tool that gives benefits administrators a way to help advise employers on how they can make better business decisions to save money. On today’s show, Seth will discuss how the advanced reporting dashboard gives users a way to quickly get a strategic snapshot of current account information and in-depth trend analysis. Users can use the tool to see how they stack up against their peers and spot important trends and shifts as they happen to successfully navigate the changing benefits landscape.
