“Discovering Destiny,” a 70-minute feature-length documentary, highlights the life of indie film producer Timothy “TEACH” Jones.  Born on the streets of South Central LA, Jones indulged in a life of gang affiliation, drugs, alcoholism, women, and crime before discovering his destiny to minister to other young men and women and to use his creative talents to encourage others to turn their life challenges into triumphs.

The talented Jones, not only wrote, directed and produced the film with a small budget of $15,000, he also plays himself in the riveting documentary.  With a supporting cast and crew of 30 artists in his film (including entertainer, Belma Michael Johnson), Jones depicts his own childhood struggles of attending a primarily all-white private school and

dealing with racism, torment and exclusion which drove him down a path of trouble as he started skipping school and hanging with gang members.
