Harris, who played his college football at Kansas State University, he began his professional career in the Canadian Football League playing the 1976-77 seasons with The Hamilton Tiger-cats, and in 1978-79 with the Toronto Argonauts. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1980 playing 6 years and was an intregal part of the Super Bowl XVI team, catching the final touchdown pass in the 1981 AFC Championship win over the San Diego Chargers, in the "Freezer Bowl" the coldest game in NFL history. Harris is now involved with the M.L.Harris all boys academy which teaches life skills,academics,leadership,character as well as sports. Harris is also the father of former Bowling Green stand out Josh Harris.
