Communities in Distress during the Coronavirus

With the current state of the nation amid the Covid19, or the Coronavirus, normalcy has been disrupted. And there are certain populations that suffer a greater risk than others, often right in our backyard and who do not receive as much coverage in the media for help & assistance.

Tune in for a special broadcast of The Entrepreneurs' Lounge Radio Show & Podcast as we focus on those suffering from domestic violence and child abuse. Our Featured Expert is Sanu Dieng, Executive Director of Transitions Family Violence Services, a 501(C)3 in Hampton Virginia serving victims of intimate partner violence. She is also working on changing systemic policies and procedures with community partners on the Virginia Peninsula to address the needs of those experiencing abuse in the community. Many of those concerns are shared with the state coalition for policy initiatives and/or
legislation that can impact the state as a whole.
