When you reflect back, do you have fond memories of childhood? Most people have both fond and hurtful memories from childhood - but sadly some people grew up in violent and angry homes while others grew up in loving and joyful home and most people of course experienced everything in between. On today's show we’ll take a walk down memory lane and see the impact that our experience in childhood - how we were parented has shaped who we are as people and how we parent.

Dr Robyn Mills interviews Dr Rosina McAlpine on this topic to ponder the questions

As parents, will we allow our early life experiences shape our parenting? OR will we choose to learn to be the best parents we can be and empower our children with the skills and personal qualities they need to make their unique mark on the world?
