Honoring Breast Cancer Survivors

Breast cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer in women. Over 200,000 new cases are diagnosed every year and over 40,000 women die from breast cancer-related complications. This show is all about surviving, courage and perseverance. We are so fortunate to have Breast Cancer Survivor, Verna Rothberg share her heartfelt story about surviving Breast Cancer since 1992. Sandi Kafenbaum, a Social Worker from the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program will talk about how she and many others support these courageous women.
