Special Shows Honoring Breast Cancer Month

As we all know October is Breast Cancer Month. We are dedicating all of shows to every beautiful women who has Breast Cancer and those courageous women who are Breast Cancer survivors. Reinvent Your Spirit to Love and Support.... We begin this journey with 2 amazing women who turned their giving spirit into products that give women with cancer hope, inspiration and courage. Cynthia Martin founded National Send a Card Day. Using greeting cards as a vehicle, Cynthia's mission is to bring peace-of-mind to cancer patients by providing financial assistance and advocate prevention by building awareness within the communities she serves. Cynthia's mom, Janice Gillare is a Breast Cancer Survivor. During her mom's battle, it became apparent to Cynthia that financial difficulties had too become part of the fight. For Cynthia National Send A Card Day is a way to honor and support her mom, as well as others with cancer. Mekida Hayesis the CEO and owner of GlamrUS Accents, Inc. Mekida was inspired by a very courageous 15-year-old young lady, was diagnosed with a rare spinal cancer, to create headwear. She witnessed first hand the many effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment especially hair loss. Mekida then thought to myself, “What would I want to wear if I experienced hair loss?” GlamrUS Accents was born. Join us as we interview these 2 wonderful divapreneurs with big hearts.
