Join Scott and myself as we discuss and shed light on experiencing the world of dementia through the eyes of someone who is living it!
What is a Simulated Dementia Experience? It’s a unique, interactive workshop that gives participants the opportunity to perform everyday tasks while outfitted with devices that simulate the physical and mental difficulties caused by dementia. The result is an eye-opening way to better understand what it’s like to have Alzheimer’s. Literally, to walk in their shoes. The experience and education can help families, caregivers or professionals to improve empathy & care for their loved ones, clients or customers.
