Kandra was born and raised in Crescent City, Florida. Her children's books feature the same kid-size superheroes - The Fiesty Four.  Not only is Kandra a conqueror of sexual abuse, but she is a conqueror of domestic violence. Kandra believes COURAGE is the new superpower. Kandra earned her B.S. Degree and Master's Degree in Communication from University of Florida.
