A few weeks ago a blog post caught Cathy's eye. The topic - whether or not to outsource social media. Now having a fairly froth perspective on this, she was keen to read it, and was even more excited when on that week's episode of Social Media Hour she saw that the author was in the chat room. After a quick IM exchange during the show, Marc Meyer agreed to join the program this week to talk about this subject. In addition, the issue of women in tech has arisen ... again ... starting with a post in the Wall Street Journal, that engendered a response from none other than TechCrunch's Michael Arrington. Several other pointed posts followed. Since next week marks two major female focused conferences - the annual WITI Conference in Santa Clara and WomenWhoTech's Telesummit - on this episode of Social Media Hour we'll also tackle the "issue" of women in tech.
