Eddie Slaughter, Marion County, GA, Co-founder of the African American Agriculturalist Association. He filed his first complaint against USDA in 1980. Lawrence Lucas, Founding member and former President of the USDA Coalition of Minority employees since May 1994. Now President emeritus of the coalition. Is a native of Washington, DC, and now living in Pennsauken, NJ, outside Philadelphia, PA and is still in the struggle for justice for minority farmers, especially Black farmers and USDA employees.
