A Catch Conversation with Gilbert Russell

Gilbert Russell is a follower of Jesus Christ who has worked the past 18 years at ASAP Pharmacy in Orland Park, IL as the Director of Business Development and Patient Care. He will celebrate 44 years of marriage to Marie Antoinette, July 1, celebrate his 70th birthday on July 24th and his 44 year as a believer September 16.  He and his wife got saved 3 months after they were married. They have two children, boy/girl twins Misha and Michael, 27 years of age. 

“I believe I was created to worship and enjoy God forever and to be conformed to the image of Jesus (Romans 8:29).  My passion is discipleship (Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 28:19-20), and my favorite Bible character is Enoch!  In fact, my life verse after I turned 60 is Genesis 5:24.  I try to normalize my walk to mirror my identity in Jesus (Galatians 2:20). I hunger to study God's Word (Matthew 5:8) and to practice being in the presence of God (Psalm 139:7-12)."
