Mary Flora, Clinical Director for Asheville Academy For Girls in North Carolina, joined Lon September 1, 2015 to explain what needs to be done to help girls heal when they have been too involved with digital technology.  Mary explained the first step is to remove all digital devices from them which makes some have to go through almost a detox phrase where the usual reaction is to become irritable.   They then need to learn how to talk to a person rather than a screen and to learn healthy substitution activities through provided activities like playing music, working with horses or various outdoor activities.
