Sean Rose joined Lon Jan. 15, 2014 to explain his experience in becoming an Independent Therapeutic Educational Consultant.  Rose opened his practice in the Boston area last November.  He asserted there is no course of study to prepare for this specific career helping parents with struggling teens find the best school or resources to help them.  There were several things that were necessary for him to do a good quality professional job.  First, he had worked for 18 years in several residential treatment centers and other services for struggling young people.  Second, his education was in Education, and third, he has spend much of the last six months traveling to visit programs, under the philosophy that he can provide better service when he has personally visited the schools and programs he might recommend to parents.
