NAD welcomes guests Michael Annis and Daniel Hazen

Co-hosts Chuck Gregory and Mike Palecek welcome poet/publisher Michael Annis and human rights activist Daniel Hazen.

• Michael Annis returns to the show, this time as publisher of Cost of Freedom: The Anthology of Peace & Activism. He'll tell us about the 2007 project and why it's more relevant than ever today. He'll read some excerpts, too, selected from the more than 100 contributors to the book.
• Daniel Hazen is a survivor of the mental health system and the prison industry, and he now works as an activist, organizer, and coordonator. He's helped organize a Human Rights Rally that will take place on October 6 an we look forward to hearing about that.
