August 23, 2012 with guest Chris Jackson

Scheduled guest  David Marshak was not available but we hope to have him next week. Science fiction / fantasy writer Chris Jackson, whose latest novel Scimitar War will be officially available on Labor Day, was an entertaining and informative guest; he and Chuck discussed wtiting, publishing, and the hard work of publicity after books are written.

Chris has lived on a 45 foot boat with his wife Anne for several years; they sail the Caribbean, making friends and meeting interesting people along the way. It's not surprising that his Scimitar trilogy has to do with sailing and pirates.

The News From Mount Liberty was fun as always; my co-host  Mike Palecek and I always enjoy our vocal interplay in that part of the show.
