The host is Tenzin Norbu, author of Ocean of Compassion: A Guide to the Life of Universal Loving. Tenzin is also a contributor to PBS's new, on-line magazine, "Next Avenue," which will debut on May 12, 2012. In this episode, the host will discuss what it is to be a Bodhisattva and why he wrote Ocean of Compassion. Linda Stout will appear as a guest. Linda is a Vajrayana Buddhist, musician and psychotherapist.  We will broadcast one of Linda's songs and discuss how she became a Buddhist, and how she has integrated her spiritual practices into her music and work as a psychotherapist. Listeners will have the opportunity to call in and ask the host or Linda questions or talk about their personal experiences of striving to live a life of universal loving. Non-Buddhists are encouraged to call in to talk about their efforts to love their neighbors as themselves or ask questions about the Bodhisattva way of life.
