LiveWorkDetroit : Shining a Light on the City's Best

Started less than a year ago,  this wildly successful  new program is already effectively shining a spotlight on the wonderful things Detroit has to offer for young professionals.   LiveWorkDetroit had its first event in March 2011. With a goal of promoting the,(often overlooked) live, work and play opportunities for young professionals,  the organizers set up an on-campus program which, ultimately, recruited 84 student ambassadors on 19 campuses. 

Since then, over 2400 college students have participated in the program with the vast majority indicating that they have benefited by gaining a major increase in their awareness  of opportunities for themselves and their peers in the Detroit community.
