Preston Brown was born, raised, and educated in Richmond, Virginia.  A proud husband, father and grandfather. He has maintained businesses and labored for the improvement of communities throughout Richmond and the Tri- cities for more than 3 decades. Mr. Brown is the president of WCLM Radio, P.T. Brown Auto Sales, The Heart & Soul of the City newspaper, and The Heart & Soul Sidewalk Cafe.
 
Mr. Brown has received numerous awards from state and local organizations, to include the City of Richmond 2008 Minority Business Visionary of the Year award and  The Community Service award from Richmond City Council  and the 2009 NAACP Community Service award.  He was also nominated for the 2003 National Community Leader of the year award.
