Doug received a Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree. He  is a nationally board certified acupuncturist and is licensed as an acupuncturist in the state of New York. Dr. Lavergne is one of the few doctors of Naturopathic Medicine in the state of New York who is also fully trained and certified as an acupuncturist, giving him expertise in a vast array of natural modalities to enhance a patient’s overall health and well-being. 

Originally an Engineer, Dr. Lavegne transitioned into the world of Holistic Healing after a traumatic life event completely changed his outlook on life.  Doug Lavergne joins us today to speak about his journey into Natural Health and Healing and talk about his practice, as well as his insights into our current health care system.
