Does there need to be an attitude shift to keep kids from traveling down a road of self destruction? 

Are you honest with your kids? Do you share with them the stories about things you got into trouble for when you were their age? Do you tell them some things and glaze over or conveniently forget what you did in your youth. Would it help the world if children knew their parents and other adults in authority positions weren't nearly perfect? Would it help to know their aunts and uncles and grandparents had a life.
