So, you’re writing and/or wrote a book, now what?  How do you know if your words are print-worthy?  If they are, what is the best road to publication for you? And how do you make your book happen?

Antoinette Kuritz,  is a Book Developer,  Literary Publicist, Publishing and Media Coach,  Host of Writers Roundtable Radio Show, KUSI-TV “Book Expert”, author, wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be Publisher.  Co-author of 1001 Ways To Celebrate America, and author of Get Your Words Out: The Art, Craft and Business of Getting Published (May, 2011), is up-to-her-keyboard in the book business.

Today, Antoinette Kurtiz shares an intimate look at the publishing industry.  According to a survey by the Jenkins Group, over 80% of Americans feel they have a book in them.  And the number of those actually writing and publishing are growing each year. Few, however, will ever see their books widely read.  As the road to publication has become wider, so have the choices a writer has to make. So the first question is why are you writing a book.  The easy answer comes when you are considering a book to augment your business or practice.  This will likely be a practical, “how to” that provides information and generates credibility that leads the reader to a “who to”, where you are the who that will get hired. This is a business-driven work.  Listen to many more topics.
