How can you tell when your government has turned fascist?
Wouidl it be when a presidential candidate feels bold enough to say religions should be amended to fall in line with the will of the state?
Would it be when a president counters crticism in the media by saying there should be changes in how reporting is done?
How about when those who supposedly serving as our representatives in DC work under a shroud of secrecy to pass a multineational trade pact they claim will be good for America, but dare not let Amercans outside ther tight inner circle have the slightest peek at actual text?
These scenarios certainly sound like they're ripped from some fascist narrative, but they're ripped from U.S. domestic headlines in just the past week.
