Coalition Of Pre-Columbian Study With Radio Show Host Rick Osmon

Rick Osmon has been involved in diffusionism for many years. He's widely known as the host of the weekly radio show, Oopa Loopa Cafe. Through his engaging show, he's met and interviewed some of the best researchers in the English speaking world. Rick an the Oopa Loopa Cafe sponsored the Atlantic Conference of 2008 in Halifax and helped to make it such a success that, this year, he decided to take an even more integral role as co-host. Through his connections, he's helping to line up some of the most engaging speakers in the world. 

With over a decade of such work under his belt, and with an over-arching view of the broad subject, Rick is the ideal person to speak about the bias against pre-Columbian studies and against those engaged in such work. He also has a plan in which we can all participate in overcoming this bias. 

Rick follows a simple process in his research, that all evidence is potentially important to understanding our past and that all evidence gathering should include due diligence in establishing provenance for that evidence. Failure to do so confuses other researchers, devalues the evidence gathered, and damages the credibility of any conclusions drawn using such evidence.
