ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kyle Lovern is a UFO author and researcher from southern West Virginia. He is the author of Appalachian Case Study: UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters and Unexplained Phenomena, Volumes 1 & 2.
He is currently working on his third book, not yet titled. It will also be stories of UFO sightings and possible alien abductions in the Appalachian Mountain region.
An award-winning journalist, he has worked in nearly every aspect of the newspaper business, including as an editor, columnist, reporter and photographer. He has been recognized for both his writing and photography. Most recently, he was the recipient of a First Place and Third Place awards in the 2008 West Virginia Press Association newspaper contest.
Mountain State author Kyle Lovern has always had a fascination with UFOs and the possibility that aliens have visited earth.
Lovern is a longtime journalist in southern West Virginia. Lovern has been involved with the media for several years. He started out in radio in Williamson. He has covered and written news, sports and served as a columnist for many years in southern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky. Lovern also has experience in the radio industry as a news and sports broadcaster in W.Va. and Ky.
His work has also been featured in such prestigious publications as The Charleston Daily Mail, Wild, Wonderful West Virginia Magazine, Golden Seal Magazine and Marshall (University) Magazine.
