Pura Fe Crescioni sings and plays some smooth guitar licks along with soulful foot stomping rhythms that makes you what to get up and dance. She has traveled the world singing her songs about life. Through her music she has created a space for people to move through time. She weaves stories about the history of First Nations people with a beautiful and powerful voice that pulls you into her world. While she’s always stood up for the little guys, Pura Fé (“pure faith” in Spanish) has brought out her most politically outspoken and indigenous album to date. Born into the Tuscarora Indian Nation, originally from North Carolina, she sees her music partly as a vehicle for keeping the culture alive, against all the odds. Pura Fe connects the “We didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us,” Pura Fé belts out on the song Borders from her latest album Full Moon Rising. Join us as we explore Pura Fe's musical journey.
