#TChat Radio is all new on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT).

You know the story. Once upon a time, companies courted new talent with the promise of a lifelong relationship. “Work” meant employment and job security for years, if not decades. But the romance has died, and for better or worse, we are so over it.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, an estimated 40% of all U.S. workers currently operate on a part-time or contract basis. And as Bersin by Deloitte says, “The contingent workforce is now a permanent fixture, so many elements of talent management, recruiting and engagement are being extended to these mobile “free agents.”

Really? Just how well are companies rising to the occasion in this “highly scalable” new world order they’ve created? Are contractors still considered “second-class citizens” in most corporate settings? What’s being done by leading-edge companies to ensure that contingent workers fit into the culture and engage with the organization?

During this week’s #TChat Radio and Twitter #TChat, we'll tackle these questions and more by taking perspectives from the enterprise and the individual contributor.

Join co-creators and hosts, Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman and their informative expert guests:

Greta Roberts (@gretaroberts), CEO at Talent Analytics Corp., the leader linking “raw talent” with business performance using analytics.

Dawn Rasmussen (@dawnrasmussen), Founder of Pathfinder Writing and Careers, a boutique resume writing and career management company.

You won't want to miss it so we hope to see you here!
