As semiconductor process technology has advanced from 40nm through 32/28nm to 20nm and below, semiconductor supply chain providers have specialized to offer the most advanced technology in their respective areas. But, as the process technology shrinks, the disciplines of these technology areas are increasingly interrelated. Early and deep collaboration, which integrates the development of process technology, foundation, processing, system and interface IP, and EDA tools and flows, is required to ensure that designers can take full advantage of these leading-edge processes as soon as they are ready for production. In this Conversation Central session, which will be broadcast live from the 2010 ARM Techcon event in Santa Clara, we'll discuss with our industry expert guests the challenges they saw at 32/28nm and the collaborative solutions that they developed to address them. Then, we'll examine their experiences so far at 20nm and learn about the collaboration required to ready enablement on this next-generation node and beyond. To listen or participate, call 1 (877) 439-2972 within the US [international callers dial +1 (646) 200-4379] when the show begins at 5:00 pm Pacific, 24:00 GMT.
